Interminable Wrist Votes
IWV was introduced in 2025 by SiBo, as a solution to indecision.
Rules
CUTwC traditionally chooses drinking games by someone making a suggestion, and then voting by, on the word “vote” of “three, two, one, vote” raising or lowering pairs of thumbs. Hands are traditionally waggled until the last moment, to avoid influencing the votes of others. When nobody can agree, this can take a while, so the process was, itself, turned into a game.
- The aim is for each vote to fail.
- Each players takes it in turn to propose any game (the more ludicrous the better), which everybody votes on in the standard finger waving way.
- If a vote fails, everyone who voted no must drink a number of pencils* equal to those who voted yes.
- If a vote succeeds, the players who voted yes must drink a double fine for each yes vote.
* Depending on player count, waffeurs may be more appropriate than pencils.
Note: Not recommended to play with pineapple juice.
